The Romeo & Julia Kören

Founded in 1991 at the Royal Dramatic Theatre of Stockholm, the thirteen-voice Romeo and Juliet Chorus (Romeo & Julia Kören) has been acclaimed as one of Sweden's most innovative ensembles in performances in more than twenty countries.  Adorned in lavish costumes and overflowing with festive expression, the chorus brings alive the spirit of the Renaissance in a lively and engaging experience that is luminously lyrical, brashly burlesque, and bold, but delivered with unmistakable warmth and a keen sense of the dramatic that constantly fires the imagination.
