What was originally an 11 member singing group, ultimately became the 6 man band named, “The Association!” In 1967, The Association made history being the first band anywhere to open a rock festival – the now historic, Monterey Pop Festival.

One of the most successful bands to come out of the 60’s, they have sold millions of records as well as earned a number of achievements including a Golden Globe nomination in 1970 for Best Original Song – Goodbye Columbus. View the Artist Page

“You’ve got to love their vocals… their breezy vocals and tight harmonies are their principal attraction.” Don Ignacio

“Although many bands of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s emphasized instruments over vocal harmonies, The Association came across more as a vocal group than a band, …the music had a life of its own.” -Vocal Music Hall of Fame
