Odd Squad is an Emmy Award winning series about a spy organization run by kids that investigates anything strange, weird and especially odd. Each episode follows kid agents as they track down villains, stop odd creatures and help people with odd conditions like The Jinx or The Sing-Alongs. Odd Squad is a little Men In Black for kids, mixed with Airplane and elements of Get Smart. Also embedded in each episode is a math lesson aimed at kids 4 to 8, leading to the expression: Odd is the problem, math is the solution.

ODD SQUAD: LIVE! is based on the PBS Kids series, Odd Squad, created by Tim McKeon and Adam Peltzman with original music by Paul Buckley. The ODD SQUAD series follows the extraordinary adventures of two young government agents, Olive and Otto, who use math skills and teamwork to solve unusual cases (always brought forward by adults) ranging from disappearing zeroes to runaway dinosaurs. Utilizing math to put things right when oddness strikes, they often find additional clues in the “Mathroom,” a futuristic space that is just a teleport away. Designed to help kids ages five to eight build math skills, Odd Squad is a little Men In Black for kids, mixed with some Airplane, and sprinkled with elements of Get Smart.

Odd Squad is a government agency run by kids in suits equipped with the world’s most advanced and unpredictable gadgetry. Why kids and not adults, you ask? We told you that the squad was a little odd. Odd Squad agents are positioned in various locations throughout the world. The TV series stars two kid agents, Olive (‘whip-smart”) and Otto (“thinks out of the box”), stationed at Odd Squad Precinct #13579, which is located in a small town. Whenever something strange or unusual or just plain nuts happens, Olive and Otto’s job is to make things right again. Embedded in each case is a math concept that Olive and Otto explore; from time, mapping, and number operations to measurement, geometry and spatial sense, the solution for each episode finds Olive and Otto going to “The Mathroom.” View the Artist Page
